Recognizing Your Grant
Grant recipients are asked to acknowledge and recognize their grants in marketing and media materials related to their funded projects. Please see the guidelines below for each type of grant.
Brant Community Foundation Grant Program – Recognition Guidelines
Recipients of the Brant Community Foundation Grant Program are asked to acknowledge the Foundation in marketing and media materials related to projects funded by our grants.
Our Logo is available for download and use in your print and online content related to projects funded by the Foundation. The BCF Logo should only be used to recognize a grant to your organization and the relevant funded projects.

For written media (newsletters, media releases) on projects supported by the BCF, please including the following description of the BCF and our work:
The Brant Community Foundation is a registered charitable public foundation that seeks to build community vitality by providing efficient, flexible donor services, grants to a broad range of community initiatives and leadership in understanding and responding to current and emergent community needs. Incorporated and registered in 1997, the Foundation is a member of the national network, Community Foundations of Canada and has experienced significant growth in endowed funds. The Brant Community Foundation is now managing more than $29 million in endowed assets and has made almost $10 million in cumulative grants since we began granting in 2001. If you are making an announcement to media about your grant from the BCF, we ask that you send a draft of your press release to Amy Sterkenburg, Grants and Communications Coordinator for approval: asterkenburg@brantcf.ca

City of Brantford Community Grant Program – Recognition Guidelines
The City of Brantford Logo can be made available to grant awardees for use in your print and online content related to the programming, projects, activities and/or events funded by the City Grants. The City of Brantford Logo should only be used to recognize a grant to your organization from the City of Brantford.
To request the City of Brantford logo in high resolution, please complete the City of Brantford Logo Request Form and submit it to communications@brantford.ca.
Print media, such as newsletters and media releases regarding projects supported by the City of Brantford, should include the following description of the City of Brantford Community Grants Program:
Since 2001, the City of Brantford Community Grants Program has played a pivotal role in providing essential funding for nonprofit organizations in Brantford. Through its support, these organizations have been able to carry out impactful initiatives that have made a meaningful difference in the quality of life of our residents. The City of Brantford is committed to working with local nonprofit organizations to facilitate opportunities to enhance community wellbeing through support of arts, culture, heritage, recreation, the environment, and health and human services.
