Remembrance Day

Remembrance Day – Thursday, November 11, 2021

Remembrance Day is a time to honour the courage and sacrifice of the many men and women who served, and continue to serve, during times of war and military conflict.

Each year on the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month, we gather together in schools, memorial parks, community halls, workplaces, and homes to observe a moment of silence and to stand in honour of all who have fallen.

This year, the City of Brantford Remembrance Day ceremony will take place at the Cenotaph at the corner of Brant Avenue & Dalhousie Street beginning at 11:00 a.m.
